Hints for writing content.

Viewers want to find how your products and services will benefit them as quickly as possible. They scan.

  • It is crucial to write short easy to read thoughts – no flowery language.

  • Keep superlatives to your headings and stick to facts in your paragraphs.

  • Place the main point at the beginning followed by the details.

  • Many "experts" recommend  writing like you speak and let your personality show.

Get to the point.

  • Use a heading and a sub heading for each section

  • One thought per paragraph

  • Present your strongest point first

  • Minimize the use of acronyms and abbreviations

  • Minimize adjectives (great, amazing, etc.)

  • Minimize adverbs (really, absolutely, etc.)

  • Use point form as much as possible

  • Pictures say a 1000 words - use them

  • Check your spelling and grammar
