Marketing Background

An ongoing study

In October 2007, I attended a two and a half day conference on marketing presented by Jill Sauter, developer of Marketing Accelerator Program (MAP). This intensive course opened a whole new understanding of what marketing is all about. The hours flew by as my mind converted this business model to fit with the business of running and promoting choirs & arts and non-profit groups. The course may have ended but my journey down this path had just begun.

Since then, I have taken many courses/workshops sponsored by New Media Manitoba and Arts and Culture Industries including:

  • Google Adwords - presented by guru Perry Marshall
  • Facebook Ads Fast Track - presented by Drew Bischof
  • Video Podcasting - presented by Lloyd Hannesson
